Ph.D. student in Chemistry and research fellow at the University of Bologna, he works in the field of Computational Chemistry (Spectroscopy and Computational Chemistry Group). His main research activities focus on the application of quantum mechanical (QM) methods to the study of homogeneous catalytic systems (C3 - Center for Chemical Catalysis), the simulation of NMR spectra using QM/MM hybrid methods and the use of artificial intelligence (AI) algorithoms to tackle relevant problems in Chemistry, and the application of quantum computing in Chemistry.

April-July, 2023 - Exchange PhD in the group of prof. Fahmi Himo, Stockholm University, Sweden.
July, 2021 – He attained a Master’s Degree in Industrial Chemistry cum laude at the University of Bologna with a thesis entitled Theoretical and experimental investigations on homologation of ethanol to butanol using a ruthenium-based with Professor Ivan Rivalta as supervisor and Professor Rita Mazzoni, Dr. Anna Gagliardi and Professor Fahmi Himo (Stockholm University, Erasmus+ project) as co-supervisors.
July, 2019 – He attained a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Chemistry cum laude at the University of Bologna with a thesis entitled Sintesi e caratterizzazione di cluster carbonilici Co-M (M = Cu, Ag, Au) contenenti carbeni NHC with Professor Stefano Zacchini as supervisor and Dr. Beatrice Berti as co-supervisor.
