Born in Rimini (IT) on March 10th, 2000.

Education

2024-in progress PhD in Industrial Chemistry XL cycle, under the supervision of Prof. Daniele Cespi, at the Department of Industrial Chemistry "Toso Montanari", Alma Mater Studiorum - University of Bologna.

2022-2024 MSc in Industrial Chemistry, class LM-71, obtained at the University of Bologna, cum laude. Thesis title: "Life Cycle Assessment of an electrochemical process for the production of ammonia from the reduction of nitrates" (supervisor Prof. Daniele Cespi, co-supervisors Dr. Eleonora Rossi, Dr. Sara Garcia-Ballesteros, Prof. Federico Bella).

2019-2022 BSc in Chemistry and Technologies for the Environment and for Materials class L-27, obtained at the University of Bologna (Rimini campus), cum laude. Final report title: "IR spectroscopy analysis of raw materials for the coating industry" (supervisor Prof. Massimiliano Lanzi).

Research activity

Research activity is mainly focused on the application of Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) methodology to analyse the environmental impacts of chemical processes of industrial interest.

Teaching activity

Awards and cknowledgements

2025 Best Masters' Thesis award assigned by the Division of Environment and Cultural Heritage of the Italian Chemical Society, for the participation to the XXI Divisional Congress in Cremona (IT), 10-13/10/2025.

2025 Participation grant to attend the 19th International Conference on Chemistry and the Environment (ICCE) in Belgrado (RS), 8-12/06/2025. Grant awarded by the Italian Chemical Society, Division of Environment and Cultural Heritage. 

2020 Scolarship awarded by the "Toso Montanari" Foundation Alma Mater Studiorum - Università di Bologna.
