I work as Data Analysis Manager in Manz
Italy Srl - Sasso Marconi (Bologna). I am responsible for the
management control (KPI) and its automation, for long-term strategic
projects with high levels of technology innovation, for the
training of employees, for the management of Master of Science thesis and Ph.D. projects
carried out in the company and for relations with Universities and Research
Centers.
As private consultant and trainer, I am a Senior Data Scientist and work on business intelligence and big data, pricing, negotiations and corporate data management.
I also teach at the Bologna Business School (http://www.bbs.unibo.it): I am Adjunct Professor of the Crash Course in Economics and of the Crash Course in Data Management of the Master in Business Administration Part-time (week-end formula) and of the Digital Analytics course of the Master in Marketing Management.
Previously I worked from 2013 to 2016 as Technology and
Learning Manager (with responsibilities similar to the current ones) and from 2006 to
2012 as Chief Product Manager, in KEMET Corp. (www.kemet.com) being
responsible to set prices and to manage profitability, price negotiations, approvals in new projects, technical
specifications, optimization of loading of plants, new products to
be developed and the three-year budget. From 2004 to 2005 I worked
as R&D Team Leader in Arcotronics Group (later acquired by
KEMET Corp.).
I graduated first in Bologna in 2002 in
Telecommunications Engineering (5 years duration). I then got two
degrees at the Bologna Business School: the II° level Master in
Radio-communication Engineering in 2004 and the I° level Professional Master
in Business Administration (MBA) part-time in 2009. I finally got the
Master of Science in Economics and Economic Policy in 2015, again
in Bologna.
