Education
She graduated in Dental Hygiene in 2003 from the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery of the University of Bologna, with a grade of 110/110 cum laude.
In 2008, she earned a Master's Degree in Health Professions and Technical Assistance Sciences from the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery of the University of Florence, with a grade of 110/110 cum laude. In 2016, she earned a Master's Degree in Food and Human Nutrition from the University of Milan, Interfaculty of Agricultural and Food Sciences - Medicine and Surgery, with a grade of 106/110.
In 2017, she obtained her license to practice as a Nutrition Biologist.
Academic Career
After several years of tutoring (from 2008 to 2010) in practical training for students of the Dental Hygiene Degree Program in the Department of Odontostomatological Sciences at the University of Bologna, since 2010 she has been a contract professor at the Dental Hygiene Degree Program - Department of Biomedical and Neuromotor Sciences at the University of Bologna.
Teaching Activities
Since 2010, she has been a lecturer for the Dental Hygiene Degree Program at the Department of Biomedical and Neuromotor Sciences at the University of Bologna.
Specifically:
- Since the 2013-2014 AY, she has been a lecturer for teaching Oral Hygiene Sciences and Techniques applied to the Community;
- Since the 2020-2021 AY, she has been a lecturer for teaching Professional Laboratory 1;
- In the 2018-2019 AY and 2019-2020 AY, she was a lecturer for teaching Food Sciences;
- In the 2012-2013 AY, she was a lecturer for teaching Professional Oral Hygiene Techniques 2;
- In the 2010-2011 AY and 2011-2012 AY, she was a contract professor teaching Dental Hygiene Sciences and Techniques 2.
From 2007 to 2011, she was a tutor for practical training in the departments of the Department of Dental Sciences at the University of Bologna, for students of the Dental Hygiene degree program.
In the 2008-2009 AY AY, she served as a member of the Examination Committee as a Subject Expert for the following courses: 1) Microbiology and Applied Microbiology - Degree Program in Dental Hygiene, University of Bologna; 2) Microbiology and Clinical Microbiology - Degree Program in Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics, University of Bologna.
She has been the supervisor and co-supervisor of degree theses in Dental Hygiene.
Scientific Activity
She has conducted research in the field of microbiology, contributing to the writing of articles published in scientific journals.
