Assistant professor (senior) at the University of Bologna since October 2021, she conducts his research in the area of equine internal medicine. In Febbary 2015, she started an Alternate Residency Program in internal medicine of the horse (ECEIM) at the University of Helsinki, and in July 2021 she received the ECEIM Diploma. Her research interests are particularly in imaging techniques (echocardiography, echocontrastography, and videocapillaroscopy) for the study of cardiovascular function and tissue perfusion in the newborn and adult equine. She is Head of the Equine Internal Medicine Unit and participates in the clinical activities of the Perinatology and Equine Reproduction Unit of the Department of Veterinary Medical Sciences.
