Francesca Barchiesi

Research fellow at the Department of History and Cultures, University of Bologna, I am currently involved in the PRIN project CAST – Copper Accumulation, Supply and Technology among Italian prehistoric societies. My research focuses on prehistoric and protohistoric contexts in Italy and the southeastern Arabian Peninsula. Within UniBO, I am a member of the editorial board of the academic journal IpoTESI di Preistoria and part of the DArchLab staff. I am the field director for the excavation at Ra’s al-Hadd HD-7, under the scientific direction of Prof. Maurizio Cattani. Go to the Curriculum vitae
