Academic and Professional Career
She began her professional experience as a nurse at Leicester Royal Infirmary (University Hospitals of Leicester, NHS – UK) from 05/2016 to 05/2017, working in a multicultural hospital setting and developing professional autonomy and English-language communication skills.
Upon returning to Italy, she continued her clinical activity at the Azienda Ospedaliero-Universitaria di Ferrara, Department of General, Thoracic, and Vascular Surgery, from 04/2018 to 09/2019.
She subsequently worked at the Azienda USL della Romagna – Ravenna Area, Department of General Medicine, from 09/2019 to 09/2021, providing patient care also during the COVID-19 pandemic emergency.
From 09/2021 to 09/2024, she worked in community care at Azienda USL Umbria 1, managing patient intake, protected discharges, integrated home care (ADI), and supporting the Punto Unico di Accesso at the Città di Castello Health Center (PG).
From 10/2024 to 11/2025, she carried out clinical activity at Azienda USL della Romagna – Cesena Area, Bufalini Hospital, Department of Geriatrics.
Since 12/2025, she has been working in the same organization as a professional nurse with medium-complexity expertise, serving as a Teaching Tutor for the Bachelor of Nursing program at the Cesena campus.
Teaching Activity
She serves as a teaching tutor and volunteer lecturer at the Bachelor of Nursing program, University of Bologna, Rimini Campus, Cesena site.
She teaches the course “Advanced Seminars I” for second-year students and is responsible for coordinating and organizing academic and clinical internship activities for each year, providing student orientation, evaluating training paths, and supporting the development of professional competencies and nursing identity, in accordance with university and institutional regulations.
