Curriculum vitae

Work experience

Research fellow

Research fellow from November 2018 to November 2019: in the project"omics" approach for Trisomy 21 study", Tutor Prof. Lorenza Vitale, Department of Experimental, Diagnostic and Specialty Medicine (DIMES) Unit of Histology, Embryology and Applied Biology, University of Bologna. The scope of Research fellow is to develope an integrated approach to identify the genetic determinants involve in Down syndrome. Through genome editing experiments, as Crispr/Cas 9 method, we would obtain new trisomic human cell model with a specific deletion of highly restricted region (HR-DSCR), canditate as responsible of the Down syndrome diagnosis.

Fellowship

Fellowship in the project "Genotype-phenotype correlation in trisomy 21", Tutor Prof. Pierluigi Strippoli Department of Experimental, Diagnostic and Specialty Medicine (DIMES), Unit of Histology, Embryology and Applied Biology, University of Bologna. Analysis of a highly restricted region (HR-DSCR) on chromosome 21 in correlation with the manifestation of the main symptoms of Down syndrome. The bioinformatic analysis is integrated with molecular biology experiments and with metabolome analysis.
