She obtained her Master’s degree in Psychobiology and Cognitive Neuroscience from the University of Parma in 2020, with an experimental thesis on body ownership, utilizing the Rubber Hand Illusion in non-human primates. Throughout her academic trajectory, she developed a profound interest in the integration of neuroscience, cognitive psychology, and clinical psychology, which she subsequently deepened through internships and research projects involving both human subjects and preclinical models.

From 2021 to 2025, she pursued a PhD in Cognitive Sciences at the University of Bologna, investigating the impact of food-related stimuli on attentional and evaluative processes in individuals predisposed to eating disorders, employing techniques such as eye-tracking and pupillometry. In 2023, she undertook a visiting PhD position at the Cognitive Psychology Laboratory of the University of Oslo, where she further advanced her expertise in eye-tracking methodologies within experimental research.

Over the years, she has contributed to several research initiatives, including a collaboration at the University of Brescia, where she engaged in a study examining the balance between motivational and inhibitory control (2024-2025). She is currently employed as a research fellow at the Department of Psychology, University of Bologna, where she is involved in a project examining the effects of an integrated physical-cognitive intervention on the psychological and cognitive well-being of recently retired individuals.

In addition to her research endeavors, she practices as a licensed psychologist.
