Short Bio

Dr. Filippo Lodi is Radiopharmacist at the Department of Nuclear Medicine of St. Orsola-Malpighi University Hospital in Bologna, Italy. Currently he is head of PET Radiopharmacy and Cyclotron Unit.
The research focus of his work is the development of radiopharmaceuticals for molecular imaging in particular for Positron Emission Tomography and in oncology. The spectrum of his scientific work included many different radiotracers labeled with 18F, 11C and radiometals as 68Ga and 64Cu used for clinical applications. He is adjunct professor of Radiopharmacy at University of Bologna and he supervises several fellowship programmes for International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). He is member of the Radiopharmacy Committee of the European Association of Nuclear Medicine. He is member of editorial boards, reviewer for scientific journals and congresses in the field of Nuclear Medicine and Radiopharmacy and he has contributed to the organization of national and international scientific meetings. He is author and co-author of several peer-reviewed publications and book chapters.
