After the Scientific High School he enrolled in Architecture and
graduated cum laude from the Polytechnic of Milan with a thesis on
exhibit design and museography in 2003. Always active in research
and training on the topics of computer graphics, carried out
surveys and representations through the use of new technologies
applied in the protection and enhancement of Cultural Heritage.
Since 2004 he collaborates constantly with the the Department of
Architectural Design at the University of Florence where he
participated in numerous survey campaigns aimed at documentation of
sites from the particular historic and artistic interest such as:
Villa Adriana ( Tivoli) Sperlonga (Latina ) , Massa Marittima
(Grosseto ) and Xian (Shaanxi , China). Adjunct Professor of 3D
modelling at Industrial Design of Florence's University in 2005 ,
he won a PhD in scientific field ICAR 17 in December of the same
year. From July 2009 to June 2011, a scholarship " Santiago
Grisolia " at the “Instituto de Restauracion del patrimonio” (IRP )
of the Polytechnic University of Valencia where he worked with a
group of experts to the project funded by the European Commission "
ATHENA " focused on the enhancement and sustainable use of
Mediterranean ancient theatres. Since October 2011 changes his
role, becoming a "tecnico superior" in the same Institute of the
Universidad Politecnica where in the meantime has been involved in
other projects of international cooperation with Morocco (rammed
earth architecture) and Guatemala ( Mayan archeology) . Attends
seminars on the topics of digital survey and museography; editor of
publications and attends major international conferences on the
theme of Cultural Heritage in relation to the use of new methods of
representation. From September 2013 is fixed-term researcher at the
Faculty of Engineering of the Alma Mater Studiorum of Bologna -
Campus of Ravenna.
