Curriculum vitae

Graduated with honors from the Polytechnic University of Milan with a thesis in exhibition design and museography. Always active in the field of research and training on the themes of computer graphics, survey and representation, he employs new technologies to the field of protection and enhancement of Cultural Heritage. He participates in numerous survey campaigns aimed at documenting sites of special historical and artistic interest including: Villa Adriana (Tivoli), Sperlonga (Latina), Massa Marittima (Grosseto) and Xian (Shaanxi, China), Ravenna (WHL sites). PhD in the scientific disciplinary field ICAR 17. From July 2009 to June 2011, he is a “Santiago Grisolia” study fellow at the Instituto de Restauracion del Patrimonio (IRP) of the Polytechnic University of Valencia where he collaborates with an interdisciplinary group of experts on the European Commission-funded project “ATHENA” focused on enhancement and sustainable use of ancient theaters in the Mediterranean. He participates in study seminars on the topics of digital surveying and museography; he edits publications and attends major international conferences on the topic of Cultural Heritage in relation to the use of new methodologies of representation. Since September 2013 he has been a Researcher on fixed-term contract at the Faculty of Engineering of the Alma Mater Studiorum of Bologna and since 2019 he has been an Associate Professor.
