Filippo Dal Fiore

Dr. Filippo Dal Fiore holds a PhD in Economics from the Free University of Amsterdam and teaches
at the Master’s and MBA level at the University of Bologna.

After working for ten years in the field of technological innovation—primarily leading applied research projects and a spin-off venture at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology—Filippo realized the need for a deeper exploration of ethical business and mindful leadership. Today, these two themes are at the core of his teaching at the University of Bologna and his consulting work with the Great Place To Work Institute.

Filippo is building a vision for the future of academic education, with a particular focus on how to de-ideologize the social sciences and produce social research that is truly grounded in common sense and has a fully positive impact on the world.
