Student enrolled in the 41st PhD Cycle in Astrophysics (A.Y. 2025-2026), carries out research activity concerning the gravitational instability of stratified rotating fluids under the supervision of Prof. Carlo Nipoti, and the co-supervision of Prof. Luca Ciotti. Specifically, he studies the instability of protoplanetary discs, with the aim of understanding the planetary formation mechanisms.
He completed his academic studies entirely at the University of Bologna, obtaining his Bachelor's degree in Astronomy in 2023, and its Master's degree in 2025.
His Master's thesis, titled "Stellar Density Profile and Central Black Hole Mass in Globular Clusters", written under the supervision of prof. Carlo Nipoti and prof. Luca Ciotti, is aimed at identifying features of the density profile of globular clusters that are incompatible with the presence of an intermediate-mass black hole inside them.
