Bachelor's Degree in Humanities (first class honours), received
at the University of Bologna with a final dissertation on
Modern Literature entitled Lo stile della «Commedia» negli
scritti del Pascoli (The Style of the «Divine Comedy» in Pascoli's Writings). Supervisor: Professor E. Raimondi
(academic year 1987).
1994: PhD in Italian Studies issued by the Department of
University and Research with a dissertation entitled La più
semplice macchina. Lettura freudiana del
«Pasticciaccio» (The Most Simple Machine. Freudian Reading of «That Awful Mess on the Via Merulana»). Tutors: Professor A. Battistini and
Professor M. Lavagetto.
Post-doctoral scholarship at the University of Bologna
concerning Humanities, in particular the research area of 20th
Century prose writing.
