Associate Professor at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia since 2020, he carries out his research in the field of electronic measurements. His research interests are focused in particular on sensor network systems for distributed measurements, applied to industrial automation systems. Currently, he focuses his research on Internet of Things for smart measurement systems, applied in transversal areas, from industrial field, to energy and in biomedical.

Graduated in Electronic Engineering in 2008, at the Department of Information Engineering of the University of Padova, he obtained his PhD in Information Engineering in 2012.

Academic career
After some years as a research fellow (from 2012 to 2018) at the IEIIT Institute of the CNR, he became in 2018 Researcher (RTD-A) in the disciplinary field ING-INF/05 (Computer Engineering), within the Department of Management and Engineering of the University of Padua. In August 2018 he obtained the National Scientific Qualification as Associate Professor for the sector ING-INF/07. Since May 1, 2020 he is Associate Professor at the University of Modena.

Teaching activity
Since 2016 he has been continuously teaching as a lecturer of various courses for Bachelor and Master courses related to the School of Engineering of the University of Padova and, recently, of the University of Modena and Bologna.
He is currently teaching Electronic Measurements for the Bachelor Degree Course in Electronic Engineering, and Industrial Measurements for the Master Degree Course in Electronics Engineering at the University of Modena.
He is also professor of Advanced Sensors for Electric Vehicles for the Master Degree Course in Electric vehicle engineering at the University of Bologna.
