Federico Galli is a Researcher Fellow at CIRSFID-Alma AI (Centre for Research in theHistory, Philosophy, and Sociology of Law and in Computer Science and Law, part of Alma Mater Research Institute for Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence). In May 2021 he earned a joint title in in Law, Science and Technology and in Computer Science from the University of Bologna and from the University of Luxembourg. In November 2025, he obtained national scientific accreditation as an associate professor in philosophy of law (sector 12/H3).
His main research interests include:
- Information Technologies & Law and Internet Law, in particular legal issues in the field of privacy and data protection law, advertising, contract and consumer law, and labour law;
- Technology, law and regulation, in particular the impact of AI technologies on democracy, fairness, transparency and accountability;
- Artificial Intelligence and Law applications, in particular machine learning and legal analytics to legal documents.
