Federica Morandi is a Tenure Track Researcher (RTT) at the Department of Industrial Engineering, She graduated with honors in Building Engineering/Architecture from the University of Bologna in 2012 and obtained a PhD in Energy, Nuclear and Environmental Control Engineering, from the same university in 2016. She was visiting PhD student at the OU (UK) in 2014, and visiting researcher at the University of Sherbrooke, Québec (CA) in 2018. After working a few years as Research Assistant in the Applied Acoustics Group at the University of Bologna, in 2019 she joined the Building Physics and Building Energy System Group at the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano, where she was fixed-term researcher (RTDa) until September 2025.
