Short Bio

After receiving my PhD in Physics at the University of Bologna in 2018, I worked as a research associate at the University of Glasgow until 2023, spending the last 3 years at CERN in Geneva.

During my PhD I was awarded with several fellowships, the first to work three months at the University of Göttingen and the second to work for one year at CERN.

In 2023 I won a Marie Curie Individual Fellowship on 'Exploring Quantum observables at LHC' and jointly won an RTDb position with which I returned to the University of Bologna.

I have been part of the ATLAS collaboration since 2013 and my main interest has been studying quark-top properties (mass, production, high energy region) and its modelling.

I am currently involved in analysing the collected data by the experiment in order to measure quantities inspired by quantum information theory (e.g. entanglement) using particles created in collisions. On the same subject, I am also conducting several phenomenological studies in conjunction with the theoretical physics group at the University of Bologna.
