Federica Benassi

I am a PhD student of the 39th cycle in "Future Earth, Climate Change and Societal Challenges". 

My research work involves the application of AI techniques for understanding and modeling ocean dynamics. I am currently working on estimating the global lateral export of carbon from the shallow continental shelf regions to the open ocean.

I studied Physics at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia and then Physics of the Earth System at the University of Bologna.
