Degrees:

Graduation in Modern Literature at the University of Bologna.
PhD in Italian Studies (Italianistica); dissertation title: Il trattato dell'uso e dell'attività dell'arco conduttore di Luigi Galvani e la terminologia elettrica nel Settecento (supervisors: Maria Luisa Altieri Biagi, Bruno Basile).
2000-2002 Research fellowship (assegno di ricerca) at the University of Bologna concerning History of the Italian Language.

Academic position:

2002-2014: Researcher of Italian Linguistics at the Facoltà di Lettere e Filosofia of the University of Bologna.

2014- at present: Associate professor of Italian Linguistics.

Other activities and collaborations:

Member of the Scientific committee of Centro Studi Buzzati; Member of the editorial board of «Studi buzzatiani» (Fabrizio Serra editore).

1997-1999 Library for Pedagogical Documentation (BDP), BIBL project.

Main research interests:

Language of science between the 1600’s and the 1700’s (Galileo, Galvani); literary language in 1900’s; special languages and didactics.
