Francesca Sabatini

Research Fellow for the Department of Architecture of the University of Bologna and PhD in architecture.

Member of the research team "TRACE". Her research focuses on housing rights, the just transition, cultural economics and the urban commons, with an eye on urban governance, planning and design. As a researcher and an activist she works on project with homeless people in Bologna. She writes, manages and collaborates to competitive national and international projects, focusing on housing rights (HouseInc), on Metropolitan Cities and Next Generation EU, on the Food System Transformation (REDESIGN), on security-by-design in urban planning (SAFE CITIES), sui Positive Energy Districts (PED-EU-NET), sulla giustizia energetica e cittadinanza energetica (GRETA).

Adjunct professor in Management of Cultural Events at the Department of Law, Economics, Policy and Languages, University LUMSA, Rome.

PhD in Architecture and Territory (2022).  M.Sc. (Hon.) in Innovation and Organization of Culture and the Arts (School of Economics, Management and Statistics, University of Bologna.
