Teaching

Dissertation topics suggested by the teacher.

-Development of wearable chemical sensors for biofluids monitoring

This thesis project is part of funded projects of the research group which aim at the realization of wearable sensors both on a textile substrate (t-shirts or medical bandages) or in the form of a tattoo. The aim of the research, carried out in collaboration with the Department of Physics and Astronomy, with companies and other research institutions, is the production of wearable chemical sensors capable of detecting chemical parameters in biological fluids in a non-invasive way (sweat, wound, saliva)

- Development of electrocatalysts for methanol oxidation

This project is carried out in collaboration with the catalysis group of the Department of Industrial Chemistry and is part of a research project financed by SNAM which aims at the creation of electrochemical cells to be used for the production of hydrogen. In particular, the student will deal with the anodic compartment, but the aim of the thesis will be the test of the complete cell.
