Full Professor of the University of Bologna since 2006, she carries out her research in the field of Hygiene and Public Health. The research interests are aimed in particular at the infectious risk in the community and hospital settings and in the study of lifestyles in the developmental age, with particular reference to the evaluation of interventions to promote physical activity in school age. More recently, she has also turned his research to the evaluation of tertiary prevention interventions, not pharmacological, based on programs of adapted physical activity, in patients with osteoporosis. Engaged in national and international research projects, she collaborates with several Italian and European research groups.
