Enrico Serpelloni

Adjunct professor

Department of Physics and Astronomy "Augusto Righi"

Short Bio

Senior Researcher at the Istituto Nazionale di Geofisica e Vulcanologia and Adjunct Professor at the University of Bologna since 2022. Trained at the Universities of Padua and Bologna, he is interested in the applications of space geodetic techniques to the study of solid Earth geophysics. His research concerns geodynamic processes and the study of the seismic cycle through geodetic, seismological and geological observations. He is interested in measuring the accumulation of deformation and the kinematics of active faults at different time and spatial scales. He also applies geodetic techniques to the study of non-tectonic deformations (hydrological / anthropogenic / induced) and sea level variations. He is also involved in the design and implementation of GNSS experiments for geophysical monitoring and the development of GNSS data processing procedures.
