Professor of “Energy Management Engineering” – University of
Bologna
Enrico Lorenzini is, since 1994, full professor of “Energy
Management Engineering” at DIENCA, the Department of Energy and
Environmental Engineering (http://www.dienca.unibo.it/)
of the University of Bologna. A former full professor, since
1980, of Nuclear Engineering, his fields of research and teaching
cover most of the technical, environmental, management and policy
issues related to energy generation, mainly at the large-power
scale. He has been the Dean of the Engineering Faculty of the
Bologna University from 1989 to 1995. From 1977 to 1994 he was
component, and then vice-president, of the CNR's (National Research
Council) Italian National Committee for Engineering and
Architecture. In the 87's, for three years, he was Italian
representative within the CG5 “Energy General Committee” of the
European Parliament.
Formerly President of UIT, the Italian Union for
Thermo-Fluid-Dynamics, he presently is:

· Editor in Chief of
the “International Journal of Heat & Technology”
· President of AIGE,
the Italian National Association for Energy Management
