PhD. Enrico Dalpadulo is currently research fellow at InterMech Mo.Re research centre. He obtained the Doctor of Philosophy degree in "Automotive for intelligent mobility" at the Alma Mater Studiorum university of Bologna. He obtained the master's degree in "Vehicle Engineering" with honors at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia. He attained the Industrial Engineer professional qualification. Since 2018 he is researcher in Design Methods for Industrial Engineering at the IDEA lab. (Integrated Design Engineering and Applications) of the "Enzo Ferrari" engineering dept. in Modena. His research field is Design for Additive Manufacturing applied to the automotive sector and he is author of scientific and technical publications focused on implementation of DfAM methods and topology optimization. He has been involved in an industrial project in collaboration with the "Metal Additive" research facility of HPE COXA s.r.l. company in Modena. He is involved also in research projects "3DPrint2Enable - development of custom co-designed devices to overcome difficulties in the use of hands" and “Design and development of aids and medical devices” currently joined with the REHAB-LAB-4U initiative of EU-funded DigitalHealthEurope European project, in collaboration with the medical dept. as Additive Manufacturing Engineer. He collaborates with C.R.F. and FCA Italy S.p.A. (Stellantis N.V.) for development and applications of metal Additive Manufacturing. He is lecturer of computer aided design, technical drawing and additive manufacturing subjects at the university and sundry other institutes.
