Curriculum vitae

National PhD candidate in Materials, Sustainable Processes and Systems for the Energy Transition at the Politecnico di Torino and the Università di Bologna since November 2022, she conducts her research in the fields of inorganic and organometallic chemistry, as well as photoactive polymeric materials. Her scientific interests focus in particular on the design and synthesis of luminescent Ir(III)-based metal complexes, the investigation of their photophysical properties, and their application in energy-related technologies (such as LSCs) and sustainable polymer synthesis technologies (photo-ATRP).

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Chemistry (L-27), 2020, University of Bologna.

Master's Degree in Industrial Chemistry (LM-71), 2022, University of Bologna.

Research

Since 2022, she has been carrying out research activities as a PhD candidate at the Department of Industrial Chemistry "Toso Montanari" of the University of Bologna.

Visiting Research Assistant at Curtin University (Perth, Australia) from March to August 2025, where she worked on the synthesis and characterization of red-emissive Ir(III) cyclometalated complexes for cellular imaging applications.
