Eleonora Marzi is an Adjunct Professor of French Language and Linguistics at the Department of Modern Languages, Literatures and Cultures of the University of Bologna, and Associate Professor at the Department of Modern Languages, Literatures and Cultures of the University of Chieti-Pescara “G. D’Annunzio”. Her main research areas include:
-Corpus-assisted discourse analysis, with a particular focus on political and institutional discourse through the application of natural language processing technologies (NLP, textometry). Within this field, special attention is devoted to linguistic production in the Quebec French variety, especially in relation to language policies and lexicographical output.
-Digital terminology, approached through knowledge-modelling techniques (knowledge graphs and the semantic web), with a specific focus on the domain of cultural heritage. In particular, her work addresses the cultural and implicit dimensions embedded in lexical items.
