Eleonora Fiorellino studied at Università di Roma La Sapienza, where she obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Physics and Astrophysics and a Master’s degree in Astrophysics and Astronomy. She earned a PhD in Astronomy, Astrophysics & Space Science within the Rome doctoral program, in collaboration with Università La Sapienza, Università di Tor Vergata, and the INAF institutes in Rome (OAR and IAPS). During her PhD, she began focusing on star formationand was awarded an ESO studentship, spending one year in Munich, Germany. She carried out research at the Konkoly Thege Miklós Csillagászati Intézet in Budapest and at the Instituto de Astrofísica de Canarias in Tenerife. She is currently a Researcher at the DIFA of Università di Bologna Alma Mater Studiorum, where she studies star and planet formation, with particular attention to protostellar accretion processes.
