National Scientific Qualification for Full Professor in 2019 and in 2024 (Scientific Sector: Automatics). Collegio Superiore Scientific Board Member since 2016. Visiting Professor at Leuphana University of Lueneburg, Germany (2018), Aalto University, Finland (2012-2015), University of Michigan, USA (2009), Institut de Recherche en Communications et Cybernétique de Nantes, France (2003-2004), Brown University, Providence, RI, USA (1999). Author of more than 170 publications (journal and conference papers, contributed and invited chapters) in Systems and Control. Chair, IFAC TC2.2 "Linear Control Systems".
