Elena Guerzoni

Elena Guerzoni is PhD in Pedagogical Sciences at the Department of Education Studies “Giovanni Maria Bertin” of the University of Bologna. Her research interests include children’s and young adult literature, its history and its contemporary developments; literary genres; representations of childhood and adolescence in literature, cinema and illustrations; literary education. As part of her doctoral studies, she investigated the representations of adolescence in an international corpus of contemporary youth fiction.

She is Teaching Assistant in Children’s Literature (LM-85 BIS) and a member of the CRLI - Centre for Research in Children’s Literature of the Department of Education Studies, University of Bologna.
