PhD candidate in Global Histories, Cultures and Politics at the University of Bologna. Her main fields of interest are History of institutions and political thought and Gender studies. The aim of her PhD research is to reconstruct the role of philosopher and activist Anna Julia Cooper (1858-1964) within a global history of modern political concepts, by examining her contribution both to black feminist and to black abolitionist thought.
