Curriculum vitae

Current position

Research fellow at the Department of Physics and Astronomy, she currently focuses on the simulation and prediction of extreme climate events.


Academic Background

Graduated in Environmental Sciences from the University of York (2017), United Kingdom. She subsequently obtained a Master of Science with Distinction in Climate Change at the University of East Anglia in Norwich.

She then pursued a Doctorate in Science and Management of Climate Change at Ca' Foscari University in Venice, in collaboration with the Ocean Modeling and Data Assimilation (ODA) division at the CMCC Foundation in Bologna. Her PhD work focused on the analysis of Arctic sea ice variability at different time scales through the use of ocean reanalyses and coupled model ensemble simulations. She collaborated with the Department of Atmospheric Sciences at the University of Washington in Seattle, USA.
