Elena Ambrogi

PhD student at Sorbonne Université and University of Bologna. My research work is directed by Benoît Perthame, Delphine Salort and Maria Carla Tesi. The research interests are in the study of models for the behavior of biological neural networks. These are systems of nonlinear, degenerate Fokker-Planck type parabolic equations. In particular, the study focuses on the asymptotic analysis of the behavior of such models: existence of steady states, rate of convergence, and limiting conditions for the occurrence of different phenomena.
