Education, scholarships and research stays

- 20/01/2025 – Present: Erasmus+ scholarship for a six-month research stay at the University of Granada (Spain) as part of a joint PhD supervision (cotutelle). Supervisor: María Isabel Navas Ocaña

- 01/11/2023 – Present: PhD student in Modern Languages, Literatures, and Cultures: Diversity and Inclusion, curriculum EDGES - Women’s and Gender Studies (39th cycle), at Alma Mater Studiorum - University of Bologna. Supervisor: Valentina Nider.

- 2023: Executive Master in Leadership for International Relations and Made in Italy, awarded through a scholarship from the Italy-USA Foundation, Rome.

- 2022: Master’s Degree cum laude in Language, Society, and Communication (LM-38), at Alma Mater Studiorum - University of Bologna.

- 2020: Teacher training program with accreditation of 24 CFU in anthropo-psycho-pedagogical disciplines and teaching methodologies and technologies, at Alma Mater Studiorum - University of Bologna.

Scientific Activities and Research Projects

- 2025: Moderator for the project Una Europe for Virtual Exchange (UnaVEx). UnaVEx is an interdisciplinary and intercultural online bridge between European and African students for sustainability education. The main objective of the Virtual Exchange is to offer accessible, affordable and sustainable international on-line exchange opportunities to all students interested in Global Sustainability education. UnaVEx aims to increase environmental awareness, knowledge of the green transition and skills of young generations and societies both in Europe and Africa. UnaVEx builds on the UnaEuropa on-line MOOC and virtual exchange workshops.

- 2022–2023: Collaborator for the FAST-LISA Project (Fighting Hate Speech Through a Legal, ICT, and Sociolinguistic Approach) under the EU Commission’s Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values Programme (CERV-2021-EQUAL). Scientific Coordinator: Prof. Francesca Curi. Spanish Language Research Lead: Prof. Ana Pano Alamán.


Awards and Recognitions

- 2022: Recipient of the America Giovani Award for University Talent, a national recognition for outstanding graduates from Italian universities, awarded by the Italy-USA Foundation, Rome.
- LANSCO Award 2019/2020: Scholarship for meritorious students enrolled in the first year of the Master’s Degree in Language, Society, and Communication, at Alma Mater Studiorum - University of Bologna.


Other Activities

- 2018: Translation of the interview "Poets Translate the Unknown World. And Work Against Those Who Replace Thought with Entertainment: A Dialogue with Eleanor Wilner" from English to Italian for the online magazine Pangea.
