Domenico Micocci

Domenico Micocci holds a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering (Water Engineering curriculum) and a Ph.D. in Civil, Chemical, Environmental and Materials Engineering.
He is currently a research fellow at the Department of Civil, Chemical, Environmental and Materials Engineering (DICAM) at the University of Bologna.
His research activity mainly focuses on hydropower production and optimal operation of both run-of-river and reservoir-based plants (also including pumped-storage hydropower); he is currently conducting research on hybridization of hydropower with variable renewable energy sources.
He is also interested in transients in pressurized pipelines.
