Dimitrios Ziotas

I am Dimitrios Ziotas, I hold a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Management and Natural Resources from the University of Patras. I'm a certified Environmental Engineer and hold a master's degree in Energy and Finance from the International Hellenic University.

During my internship at Waste Management of Western Macedonia in Greece, I collected and analyzed waste data, contributing to improvements. At Edil Hellas SA, I managed waste data dashboards, coordinated collections, and negotiated waste management deals with local municipalities.
With the Pan-European Seal Programme at EUIPO, I co-supervised energy and water consumption, proposed efficiency initiatives, and managed the energy and water dashboard. As part of the Chief Sustainability office in the European Patent Office, I played a key role in various tasks, from emissions dashboards to implementing UN sustainable goals.

Now I am a PhD Candidate at the University of Bologna through the HORIZON/Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Programme. Go to the Curriculum vitae
