Devis Montroni

His research is focused on the characterization of biogenic matrices (as shells, cocoons, radula, etc.), especially on chitin-based ones. He mostly use different microscopies and spectroscopic analysis, along with mechanical characterization in order to understand the structure-function relationship in these matrices.
Meanwhile, he works on the synthesis of functional material based on biogenic chitin-based matrices. Go to the Curriculum vitae
