Demetrio Panarello

I am based in Bologna, working as Senior Economist at Prometeia.

In the past years, I carried out research at the Universities of Bologna, Udine and Luxembourg. I hold a Ph.D. Europaeus in Economics, Statistics and Sustainability from Parthenope University of Naples and previously received my master's degree in Actuarial and Financial Statistics at University of Messina.

My current research mostly turns towards the analysis of households' resilience to economic challenges. I have a solid publication record covering a diverse range of topics, including sustainable energy and behaviours, job discrimination, estimation theory, project evaluation and individuals' mobility.

Curiosity and optimism are my driving forces. Outside of work, I am an enthusiastic traveller, a technology lover and a movie fan.
