PhD student at the University of Bologna, he carries out his research in the field of the development of advanced combustion systems with combined 'spark and compression' ignition for alternative endothermic engines with low environmental impact. Specifically, it deals with the modeling and optimization of a compression ignition combustion system of a stratified air-gasoline mixture (Gasoline Compression Ignition, GCI) by comparing three-dimensional fluid dynamic simulations in a CFD environment and empirical experimental data.
