Short Bio

Associate Professor at the University of Bologna since 2019, Daniele Tripaldi conducts his researches in the fields of ancient Christian literature and history of ancient Christianity. His research interests focus in particular on visionary texts produced by Jews and Christians from the 4th century BCE until the end of the first millennium CE as well as on the origins of Christianity in Egypt. He is now mainly writing on Gnostic literature of the first two centuries and the Revelation to John. Go to the Curriculum vitae
