Sources", under the guidance by Prof. R. G. Strom (NFRA) and Prof.
R.T. Schilizzi (JIVE).
1988, November -- 1992 October:
PhD in Astronomy at the Astronomy Department of Universita` degli
Studi of Bologna (Thesis: Multifrequency VLBI study of a sample of
Compact Steep-Spectrum radio sources - in Italian), supervisor:
Prof. C. Fanti. Final exam: Rome, IX 1993.
The first year was suspended owing to the military service
(1988, November 24 -- 1989, November 23), shifting from the
IV to the V cycle of PhD course.
1988, July 1 - 1988, November 23:
Annual grant from the Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche at
the Istituto di Radioastronomia di Bologna (grant interrupted and
quitted due to the military service and then to the PhD grant
award)
1987, July 16:
Degree in Astronomy at the Universita` degli Studi di Bologna, with
110/110 cum laude. Thesis: "Distorted radio morphologies: NGC 4869
in the Coma cluster", supervisor Prof. R. Fanti; Co-supervisor Dr.
L. Feretti
