Daniele Alberoni

Researcher since January 2023, he carries out his research in the field of agricultural and environmental microbiology.

The research activity focuses on two main research fields.

1. Microbial ecology of the gut microbiome of Apoidea such as Apis mellifera, Osmia spp., Xylocopa spp., Megachile spp. and other solitary pollinators of Europe and South America. 
   
   
2. Microbial interactions between soil - plant - pollinating insects.
   

He is currently involved in national and international research projects, and collaborates with numerous European and international institutes.
