I was born and raised in the province of Verona in an agricultural family and I realized that I wanted to become a Veterinarian at a young age.

I then attended the Professional Institute for Agriculture and Environment, in Villafranca di Verona, where I discovered a deep passion for Animal Husbandry. I then enrolled in the course of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Bologna, where I graduated with honors in 2016, presenting an Experimental Thesis on the nutrition of the dairy cow. I subsequently continued my training by doing my PhD at the Animal Production Service of the same department.

Over the years my research activity has focused mainly on the nutrition of dairy cows, at the DIMEVET experimental teaching barn. I have also served as a Teaching Tutor as part of the Animal Husbandry Internship from 2019 to 2021.

Currently, I am a Resident of the European College of Comparative Nutrition, with a particular focus on farm animal nutrition and the horse.
Since 2019, I have been an Adjunct Lecturer at the University of Teramo where I teach Nutrition and Feeding of Livestock in the Master of Science in Sustainable Animal Production program.

Since November 15, 2021 I have taken up my position as a Type A Temporary Researcher at the DIMEVET of the University of Bologna.
