Cristiano has extensive experience in ICT, emergency management, and innovation. He currently serves as Director of the Digital Innovation Hub at LepidaScpA, coordinating digital transformation initiatives for public sector institutions across Emilia-Romagna. Previously, he led Lepida’s Emergency Management Division, establishing critical processes for risk prevention, crisis response coordination, and telecommunications support for regional Civil Protection. His background includes overseeing the development of public digital infrastructure, ensuring resilience in connectivity solutions, and ensuring company adherence to Privacy and Security regulations. He was actively involved in projects like Horizon 2020 PRECINCT. He is currently involved in IEEE Public Sector Technology Initiative committee, and in the ITU United for Smart Sustainable Cities initiative WG3. His qualifications include a PhD in Electronic and Computer Engineering and certifications such as ISACA's CGEIT and CDPSE, and ITIL, underpinning a strong expertise in both technical and governance aspects of ICT, also in security aspects.
