Research activity

• From November 2024: PhD student at the Department of Industrial Engineering (DIN), PhD program in Mechanics and Advanced Engineering Sciences (DIMSAI). Research topic: “Innovative metallic materials for the design of high strength-to-weight ratio components”.
  

Education

• November 2024: Licensed to practice as an Industrial Engineer, obtained in the second session of 2024 at the University of Bologna.

• October 2024: Master’s Degree in Energy Engineering obtained at the University of Bologna with a final grade of 110/110 cum laude. Experimental thesis in Mechanical Metallurgy entitled: “Optimization of heat treatment, mechanical and microstructural characterization of secondary aluminum-silicon foundry alloys”.

• July 2022: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering obtained at the University of Perugia with a final grade of 110/110 cum laude.

Awards

• July 2026: Winner of the Italian National Heat and 3rd Place at the European Final of the FEMS Master Thesis Award, organized by the Federation of European Materials Societies (FEMS).

• March 2026: Merit Graduation Award, conferred by Alma Mater Studiorum – University of Bologna (Academic Year 2023/2024).

• May 2025: Winner of the 32nd Sclocchi Award, presented for the best Master’s thesis in the field of Energy Engineering defended in 2024.

• July 2023: Awarded as the Best Bachelor’s Graduate in the Mechanical Engineering degree programmes at the University of Perugia (Academic Year 2021/2022).
