Ph.D. in Science, M.Sc. in Inorganic Chemistry(State University of Campinas, 2010 and 2006) and B.Sc in Chemistry (University of Brasília, 2004). He has experience in the field of Chemistry, with emphasis in Materials Science and Electrochemistry, mainly in the synthesis of various structures, their characterization using electronic microscopies (transmission and scanning), spectroscopies (FTIR, XRD, XRF, NMR etc.), thermal analysis (TG, DSC, ITC) and electrochemical methods (CV, CA, EIS etc). He has worked on other subjects such as interdisciplinary teaching, active learning, environmental analytical chemistry, animal toxicology, porous and lamellar oxides, biopolymers, inorganic-organic hybrid materials, carbon molecular sieves, biomass valorization and hydrogen production. He was also Substitute Professor at several universities in Brazil (ITA, UFSCar, UNESP, UNEMAT and UFOPA). Currently works as a RTDA developing materials and devices for energy storage and conversion, with the goal to develope more environmental friendly and cheap materials.
