Tutor at the University of Bologna since 2003, with tutoring responsibilities related to quality assurance and career guidance for prospect, current, and graduating students of the degree programmes of the Department of Interpreting and Translation (DIT) of Forlì.
Education
Four-year degree (under the old system) in Interpretingand Translation—Translation path, attained in 1999 at the School of Modern Languages for Interpreters and Translators (SSLiMIT), now the Department of Interpreting and Translation, at the Forlì Campus.
Main activities carried out as part of the tutoring role
For quality assurance purposes:
- support for the degree programme’s QA committees in drafting annual and periodical review documents;
- support for the degree programme’s QA committees in consulting with stakeholders and drafting the relevant minutes;
- support for the degree programme’s QA committees in drafting and/or updating SUA-CdS documents on a yearly basis.
For career guidance purposes:
- Assisting the Career Guidance Coordinator with guidance activities for DIT degree programmes (open classes, webinars, meetings with students and families, preparation of informational and communication materials, looking after the career guidance email address in collaboration with colleagues from the DIT Academic Office, and liaising with the University’s central Career Guidance Service);
- support for the Career Guidance Coordinator in the ongoing career guidance activities staged by the University;
- support for the graduate career advisor in career guidance and job placement activities for graduating students and graduates of the DIT degree programmes (organising events called "Lunchtime Opportunities" to promote internship opportunities, organising events featuring testimonials from graduates, such as "Self-Entrepreneurs from DIT").
