Born in Bologna, Italy, February 16, 1972.

M.D. in Medicine and Surgery (110 /110 cum laude), University of Bologna, Italy, 19 March 1998.

Qualification to practice the profession of Medical Surgeon in 1998; registered in the Register of the Order of Medical Doctors and Surgeons of the province of Bologna since 1999.

Specialist in Radiodiagnostics ( 70/70 cum laude), University of Bologna, Italy, 03 November 2003.

From 20 June 2005 to 11 December 2005 she served as Medical Radiologist at Major Hospital of Bologna with fixed-term employment relationship. From 12 December 2005 to 30 September 2006 she served as Medical Radiologist at the Budrio Hospital with permanent employment relationship.

From 01 October 2006, employed by the University of Bologna, Faculty of Medicine and Surgery, as a Researcher in the scientific-disciplinary sector MED/36 Diagnostic Imaging and Radiotherapy, and in the role of Assistant Professor from 07 November 2009 to present.

She carried out healthcare activities in agreement with the University Hospital of Bologna Policlinico S.Orsola-Malpighi with the status of Medical Radiologist, first at the U.O. Radiology Prof. Canini, and later at the U.O. Radiology Prof. Zompatori (later Prof. Morganti acting).

Currently belongs to the Department of Medical and Surgical Sciences (DIMEC), University of Bologna, and carries out researchers and assistance activities in agreement with the Pediatric and Adult CardioThoracic and Vascular, Oncohematologic and Emergency Radiology Unit, IRCCS Azienda Ospedaliero-Universitaria di Bologna, Italy.

DIDACTIC AND SCIENTIFIC ACTIVITIES

Holder of courses in the Degree Course for Neurophysiopathology Technicians (since 2012/13 to present).

Holder of courses in the School of Specialization in Radiodiagnostics (from 2006/07 to present).

Teaching positions in the Medicine and Surgery Degree Course (2017/18 academic year) and in the Medical Radiology, Imaging and Radiotherapy Technicians Degree Course (from t 2012/13 to 2018/19), and in the Degree Course in Dietetics (2011/12).

Teaching positions in the Schools of Specialization in Gastroenterology (AA.AA, 2010/11; 2011/12), Gynecology and Obstetrics (AA.AA 2012/13; 2013/14), Radiotherapy (AA.AA 2012/13 ; 2013/14), Hematology (A.A. 2013/14).

Teaching assistant and thesis advisor for students in the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery, and in the School of Specialization in Radiodiagnostics.
