Claudia Golino

Professor of Constitutional and Public Law at the Department of Sociology and Business Law. Since 2024, she is an elected member of the University’s Board of Directors. Since July 2026, she is also elected member of the Statutory Guarantees Council of the Emilia-Romagna Region. Previously (2021–2024), she served as Head of the Department and as a member of the Academic Senate. Her research, always closely intertwined with her teaching activities, focuses on public intervention, with particular attention to public finance, cohesion policies, democratic transitions, social rights, and gender inequalities, from a constitutional law perspective and with focus on relationships between the European, national, and local legal orders. She coordinates European research projects on democratic transitions in urban contexts and on gender inequalities from a multilevel perspective. She is also the scientific coordinator for the departmental team involved in the Horizon Europe CareFabric project. She is the author of three monographs and numerous publications on public law.
